Selecting a specific worksheet
I have 40 tabs (worksheets) named in my workbook. Is there an easier way to
go to a specific worksheet without have to tab over and past all the other worksheets? I just learned you can automatically alphabetize named tabs using VBA, but I don't know anything about VBA. Thank you, Jackie |

Selecting a specific worksheet
Hi Jackie
Maybe not what you want but did you know if you right click to the left of your first tab, the scroll left-right arrows, you will get a drop-down menu with all your Tabs and last entry showing "More sheets". Selecting a specific worksheet
If the right-click on the sheet navigation arrows is not sufficient.
You can build a Sheet Navigation Toolbar as per Dave Peterson's code on Debra Dalgleish's site. Sorts as well as navigates. http://www.contextures.on.ca/xlToolbar01.html Or see this google search thread for the BrowseSheets macro from Bob Phillips. http://tinyurl.com/yoa3dw Gord Dibben MS Excel MVP On Thu, 19 Feb 2009 09:56:16 -0800, Jackie wrote: I have 40 tabs (worksheets) named in my workbook. Selecting a specific worksheet
Hi John,
This discussion group has answered so many questions for me. Thank you! I had no idea that shortcut existed. I will try this and see if I can learn more about a Sheet Navigation Toolbard that Gord recommended. Many, many thanks from this 'newbie' Excel user ~ Jackie "John" wrote: Hi Jackie Maybe not what you want but did you know if you right click to the left of your first tab, the scroll left-right arrows, you will get a drop-down menu with all your Tabs and last entry showing "More sheets". Selecting a specific worksheet
Hi Gord,
Thank you! I want to learn more about this process and will study the link you provided. To me...all of you guys and gals must be members in MENSA who understand the intricacies of Excel. Selecting a specific worksheet
Thanks
Like any other endeavor, practice, practice, practice makes one become more familiar with the intricacies. Gord On Mon, 23 Feb 2009 09:41:05 -0800, Jackie wrote: Hi Gord, Thank you!
