Default Empty fields not reported and OLE objects reported

Dear all,

I have a couple of problems with a report just now.

1. Many of the fields in the database table are sometimes empty and I'd like
them only to appear in the report for the records for which they are filled
but I can't see how to do this. Many of the often empty fields can be entered
in a subreport if that makes a difference.

2. I have an OLE object in the database but when I insert it into the report
I only see a white square. I think the database does convert it into an image
file when the user views the field without editing it but I'm not sure how to
make sure the image enters the report.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers,

Alasdair
