Default Elimiante Duplicates

I have a client running SBS 2003, they have a company contact folder in
Public Folders. They are copying contacts from the public folder to their
Outlook 2003 contacts folder. On one client a window pops up with the option
to update the contacts, on the other it simply adds a duplicate contact. In
both cases Options, Contacts, Check for Duplicate Contacts is checked. What
needs to be done to get the one client to update the contact rather than add
a duplicate?

I can replicate this on my SBS 2003/Outlook 2003.

Thanks,
Perry

I too have a user here at work, that is trying to copy contacts from the
public folder to their Outlook 2003 contacts folder without overwriting
current contact information. the user doesn't even get the option to update
the contacts, it just simply adds the duplicate contact.
