How do I e-mail a whole category?
For Privacy I need to treat all or some of a category as BCC so that no-one
knows who else is a recipient. Can this be done? How do I mail a whole category without worrying about the BCC issue?

Either remove those contacts you don't want fro the recipient field or create a new category and assign it only the recipients you want, using that category instead of the original.
