When adding toc for the first time I'm asked to update toc
Word 2007:
I have a global template where I've made three levels of tables of contents. I have also made a number of templates where I want to use the TOCs stored in the global template. In two of my templates I get a question asking me if I want to Update the whole TOC or just the page numbers. But at this time, there is nothing to update. I haven't inserted a TOC yet. I don't get this question in any of my other templates. I have tried to "delete toc" in one of my problematic templates just to make sure there was nothing hidden there. But no luck. I still get the question. Any ideas?

How are the TOCs stored? As AutoText/Building Blocks? Or are the fields
