Default how change font colors in notes in powerpoint 2003?

In PPT 2000, I could change the font colors in the actual speaker's notes to
one of several colors. How can I do that in PPT 2003? The font color drop
down box is grayed out when I click on it in the notes section (though it
will let me change colors of the fonts on the slides themselves).

Highlight what you want to change and choose Font from the Format menu.
You can change the color there. However, the colors don't seem to show up
in Normal View (that funky multi-part view with slides or outline on the
left and notes on the bottom). To see the colors, you will have to go to
the View menu and choose Notes Page.

Thank you David! Hardly a simple solution (what was MS thinking???), as it
was much easier to edit the notes in the Normal View. Oh well...thanks for
the workaround.
