Default Powerpoint font size

In ppt 2007, is it possible for the font size to automatically reduce when
more info is being typed. I had this feature previously but somehow have
lost it.

Hi BK

Office button - PowerPoint Options - Proofing - AutoCorrect Options -
AutoFormat As You Type tab - Tick bottom 2 boxes.

That will work for placeholders - for text boxes and shapes, add a shape -
right click - format shape - text box - set Autofit to 'Shrink text on
overflow' - Close - Right click shape - set as default shape. Repeat with
a text box.
