Default Expanded Character Space in PowerPoint

"TanmayS" wrote:

Hi,

I am experiencing a peculiar problem in PowerPoint2007.

When i start a new presentation or open an old file, there are lot of gaps
between characters. I am not able to reduce the space between the letters.

I am having the same problem with the font spacing across. It is like each
letter has its own kerning. It only occurs in powerpoint 2007 and in all fonts

Default Expanded Character Space in PowerPoint

Try this.

PowerPoint 2007 text editing slow, text cut off, print, crash problems

Also try updating video drivers and turning back hardware acceleration.

How to set graphics hardware acceleration back
http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00129.htm

Would love to know if either works or not.
