Default Pages with many graphics "flicker" continuously

I have a large Powerpoint with about 90 pages.

Certain of the pages have multiple large graphics.

These pages "flicker" over and over again. It is as though the
software tries to reload the page over and over and over again.

Individual text elements on the pages can actually be edited, but the
total page never stops "flashing."

Text pages are fine. They load properly and don't "flick."

Suggestiosn?
