Word format problem once answereed by Suzanne Barnhill.
This is a problem I filed last year, and Suzanne Barnhill answered it perfectly, as far as I can remember. The problem has reoccured, and I cant remember the solution! Also, the site archives are only for 2004. Suzanne if youre there, come in!!! and this time I'll write down the answer...
Here's the problem again: Having written one line on Word, I press ENTER and instead of just moving down to the next line below, the cursor flies down several lines, almost to the bottom of the page! After struggling for some time on my own to find the solution, in vain, I now seek the help of anyone who knows the answer - please let me know if you have any ideas... |

Hi Kevin
First, the answer Suzanne gave you was: "On the Layout tab of Page Setup, change the vertical alignment from Justified to Top." Second, you don't have to rely on whatever limited newsgroup archive you were looking in. Google keeps everything! Go to http://www.google.com/advanced_group_search?hl=en. Enter your name in the "exact phrase" box and Suzanne's name in the "author" box. If you want to speed up the search a bit, you can enter microsoft.public.word.* in the "newsgroup" box. Presto! -- there's your article. Finally, if you had to wait for Suzanne to answer you again, you'd be waiting until the end of the week, because she's traveling sans computer. Thanks for the backup! Your answer is just what I would have written if I'd
been here (actually probably better than what I would have written). -- Suzanne S.
