As many records as it takes to reach the maximum file size of 2GB. A record
has a maximum of 2,000 bytes and, thus, if you maxed out every record, you
could have around 1,000,000 records. However, it's not likely that you will
max out many records.

open Access Help and do a search on "specifications". you'll get all the db
specs, including those for tables.
