Default How do I unlink tables?

I have a table that I have moved from Works. It is linked
to another table so I can't modify it. Any Help would be
wonderful. Riley Walker

Default How do I unlink tables?

I'm not the original requester for help, but I too need to unlink a table. The table was originally formed in FoxPro which I don't have on my new computer and so I'm using the table in Access. I now need to add some new fields, but can't because it appears to be linked to the original FoxPro table which I cannot open!
Help please
Maggie

Hi Maggie,

First, delete the linked table (this deletes the link, but not the
Foxpro data file, but make sure you have a backup of it anyway). Then
import the data from the Foxpro table. This brings the actual data into
the Access file, which is then independent of the Foxpro file.
