Default Back End on NAS Device

Repost -
Access 2007 split FE/BE, each user has their own FE.
Combination of TS and local LAN users.

System worked fine when the BE was on the server.
A few hours after client moved it to a NAS device, the BE corrupted.

In searching, I can find very little relating to Access back end and NAS.

Does anyone know of any issues with locating an Access BE on a NAS device?

Yes, there is not a lot of info on Access and NAS drives. That said search
these forums and you will find a few postings that may help you.

Thanks Daniel,

Yes, I did see that one.
However, there really isn't a whole lot else, so I am hoping to get a
response from a MS Tech. I had posted this last week and should have had a
response from them as part of my MSDN subscription. There was no response due
to a system glitch, but it is supposedly fixed now.
Hopefully, we can get some 'official' input.

Default Back End on NAS Device

Hi AG,
For such advisory question, I recommend that you contact Microsoft
Advisory Services for the best support. Microsoft Advisory Services
provides short-term advice and guidance for problems not covered by Problem
Resolution Service as well as requests for consultative assistance for
design, development and deployment issues. For specific information about
the types of Advisory Services available, visit the
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/advisoryservice web page.

Best regards,
Charles Wang

Charles,

I asked about known issues. Seems like an appropriate question for a forum.
I have found little information in searching ,and with NAS devices becoming
more popular, I think there should be at least some info available from
Microsoft.
Directing me to paid support is not an appropriate response.
