Just to clarify. also, is there a simple tool to make web sites? I am not a
professional - just do it as a hobby.

See: http://www.rinconcentral.com/

This is the extent of my web design experience, but I would like to get
better at it.

So I am looking for a not too expensive, nice web design tool. I am using
Front Page 2003 right now.

Thanks,
mac

Yes, it was - back in 2007. Expression Web was released at that time.

In addition to JoAnn Paules reference to the replacement software -
Expression Web - you might consider as an alternative if it meets your
needs:

Office Live - Small Business, MFG - Microsoft

Yes FP2003 was the last release of web development tool in Office family
of products. Originally, Sharepoint Designer was supposed to replace it
but now it is given away for free to anybody who wants it.

The official product for web designing and development is Expression Web
and the current version is version # 3. You can download a trial
version from he

http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/Web_Overview.aspx

Whether or not it is easy to use, only you can judge that but the style
has changed dramatically and M$ has decided to follow the International
standards rather than its own standards!

NVU is a free wysiwyg html editor; try it; very functional,
useful. Else go to dreamweaver or Fusion or some such thing.
