Default How do I change the default directory for Publisher 2003?

My c: drive was short on space after I upgraded to Office 2003 so I moved the
clip art to a separate drive. No linking problems with Word, XP, etc - just
Publisher where I really USE clip art! How can I tell Publisher that my clip
art - and ALL pictures - are on a different drive?

Office 2003 doesn't have any clipart - it's all on the Office website now.

Not all clip art is "Office" or on line. I have my own creations and my own
photographs. THAT is what I want to access. So how do I tell Publisher to
look someplace other than the c: drive for files?

Okay. How do I re-install photographs, downloaded clip art, drawings? There
are no options in Publisher 2003 but Word and the other Office 2003 programs
DO have that option (and recognize my files).

I have removed and reinstalled the entire Office 2003 system. There is no
place in the automatic install or the custom install to tell Publisher where
to look for graphics files. The rest of the suite has that as an option in
the program.

Where do I put a change in the registry?

Correction: Office 2003 has a minimal amount of ClipArt with it (more than
none), the remainder (including 30,000 clips exclusively for Office 2003
users) is on the Office website.

Anyway, the Media Content supplied with Office XP will continue to work with
Office 2003. Moving it to a different folder screws up all the registry
information on where the files are, so you will need to either move it all
back to where it was or reinstall it from the original CDs into the folder
where it is now.

The Clip Organizer is shared between the entire Office suite. If the Clip
Organizer in Word can find the file, then technically it should be able to
do it in Publisher, as they are the same component.

I suggest waiting to see if Mary can suggest something.

I don't know. I don't even know if it's possible, it's that complicated.

Thanks, Ed. Mary & I are working on it.

I really do not understand what is happening. Can't all those 0s and 1s get
together right? But Publisher keeps trying to install a program that must be
on the system or Word wouldn't find files.

Sigh.
Thanks for the reply. Let me know if you think of something - especially
something off the wall. That would probably fit my system. How many weekw
would it take to reformat and reload my C: drive...
