Expression automatic update
I have an expression built into a query that sums sales data year to date.
At the end of each month, I want the expression to be the sum of the actual data from the sales periods that have closed (p1 + p2 + p3 etc), but I do not want to include data that may be posted to the current month (p4) if the month is not complete. I also want to import this query into Excel each month. Is there any way to have the query automatically update each month to add the newly closed period to the year to date expression? I am not extremely well versed in access and any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Expression automatic update
Hi
The current month is never closed - You can set the criteria for a select query from the start of this year to the end of last month. This will "auto-update" each month. -- Wayne Manchester, England.
