template for family tree?
I think that family tree will be a popular template for access database. I
wonder if there is any already designed so I don't need to re-invent the wheels. |

Duane:
I've downloaded the template. But it has errors. When I click on 'Import Genealogy Data', it generates code error in VB script. I was running it on windows 2000, access 2000. Do I need to run it on later access version? Some suggestion: And I think that it needs pictures, professions, education, careers for each family member and there are people with divorce, remarry etc, multiple last names and changed names and addresses etc. Sheila "Duane Hookom" wrote: Jeff Conrad posted this link on May 15 http://office.microsoft.com/en-gb/te...765241033.aspx -- Duane Hookom MS Access MVP -- "wonderming" wrote in message ... I don't have the template so I have no idea what your issue might be.

Despite claiming to be designed for Access 2000, that template uses methods
(for example the AddItem method of a combo box) that were new in Access 2002. I have reported the problems with that template to Microsoft in the past, unfortunately it seems nothing has changed. -- Brendan Reynolds (MVP) "wonderming" wrote in message ...
