How to make a background pic more faint on Power point
Is the picture actually the background (from format background )or just a
picture in the back layer? (insert picture send to back) If its the second - view toolbars picture (if you cant already see it) and use either the color tool washout or the brightness / contrast tools to get the effect you want If its in the background you cant do this Insert picture, change as above, right click and save as picture reinsert this new picture in format background -- email john AT technologytrish.co.uk "Glass" action buttons - http://www.technologytrish.co.uk/pptbuttons.html Personalised calendars - http://technologytrish.co.uk/calendars "Badger Brock" wrote: I am putting together my first powerpoint presentation and I want a faint picture as the background. You can control the faintness of your image by first drawing a rectangle the
size of the slide. Right click on the new shape and select Format AutoShape. Then select Color Fill Effects Picture Select Picture. Browse to find your image. Click Lock Aspect Ratio OK. Adjust the Transparency under the Color and Lines Tab. Preview or OK. -- Sandy Johnson Microsoft Certified Office Specialist (MOS PowerPoint) "Badger Brock" wrote: I am putting together my first powerpoint presentation and I want a faint picture as the background.
