Synchronise and Send/Receive
Outlook isn't a newsreader so there is nothing to sync.

Synchronise and Send/Receive
It may well be that I am not using the right terms to pose my question.
I read messages from a Miccrosoft Access Newsgroup, (same site as this one) I strat it from the GO/News Menu. Once running, I have the option to synchronise in the Tools Menu Thanks again. Synchronise and Send/Receive
Yes, but by using Go- News you'll leave Outlook and launch your default
newsreader. If this is Outlook Express here is the link for the right forum; http://www.microsoft.com/communities...ress.ge neral Good Luck! -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Tom Ventouris" wrote in message ... Synchronise and Send/Receive
The title bar is Microsoft Outlook NewsReader, so I suppose I am still in
outlook. I have found the sync and send/receiving scheduling in Outlook Express, but I need similar, if it exists. for Outlook. Thanks again for your response. Synchronise and Send/Receive
Nope, that is only a rebranded Outlook Express but it is still Outlook
Express and not Outlook. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more ----- "Tom Ventouris" wrote in message ... Synchronise and Send/Receive
Thank you, this clarifies it.
I have changed the settings in OE and it's working in the screen I thought to be Outlook. Clever these Microsoft people, I thought I was getting two software packages.
