MS Outlook 2003 - Newsgroups

Can synchronisation of a newsgroup be scheduled?
If so how?

Thanks

Default Synchronise and Send/Receive

Outlook isn't a newsreader so there is nothing to sync.

Default Synchronise and Send/Receive

It may well be that I am not using the right terms to pose my question.

I read messages from a Miccrosoft Access Newsgroup, (same site as this one)
I strat it from the GO/News Menu. Once running, I have the option to
synchronise in the Tools Menu

Thanks again.

Yes, but by using Go- News you'll leave Outlook and launch your default
newsreader. If this is Outlook Express here is the link for the right forum;
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...ress.ge neral

Good Luck!

The title bar is Microsoft Outlook NewsReader, so I suppose I am still in
outlook.

I have found the sync and send/receiving scheduling in Outlook Express, but
I need similar, if it exists. for Outlook.

Thanks again for your response.

Nope, that is only a rebranded Outlook Express but it is still Outlook
Express and not Outlook.

Thank you, this clarifies it.

I have changed the settings in OE and it's working in the screen I thought
to be Outlook.
Clever these Microsoft people, I thought I was getting two software
packages.
