I have some problem about background.

Hi,I don't know how to create a new background of the powerpoint.Could
someone tell how to do?Thanks a lot.

First format background

Then either choose a solid colour in the drop down under the little slide OR
go down to Fill effects if you want gradients/ pictures etc

What John said, and if you want all slides to have the same background don't
forget to click Apply to all.
