OLE server error in form
Using Access 2003, when attempting to add a browser-class object to a form,
it returns the following error: OLE server not registered To register the OLE server, reinstall it From other threads I've found that refer to that error, I understand that separate apps are used as the OLE server for different ActiveX functions, and sometimes applications that shouldn't do so steal the assignment. When I look under the Tools\ActiveX Controls menu, the browser class control is currently tied to an obsolete (and long ago uninstalled) AOL minibrowser used by AIM. Since it is uninstalled, Office can't unregister it, and I don't know what to do at this point. I need to assign a current and valid app as the browser class control, any help out there? |
