Can this be done in access and where can i find information on how
Is it possible to track changes to individual records in a database?
I would like to track changes made to any field in any record. The time the change was made. What assigned user made the change? Also the database needs to be accessible to multiple users simultaneously. Is this possible? Bruce |

Bruce It's somewhat painful in Access because it traps form-level events, not table- level events (like you can do with triggers in SQL Server), but Allen Browne has an example he http://www.allenbrowne.com/AppAudit.html -- Message posted via AccessMonster.com http://www.accessmonster.com/Uwe/For...esign/200909/1 |
