Default Access 97 to Access 2007 issues

I am trying to convert a database designed in Access 97 to Access 2007. I
don't find the interface at all intuitive and I'm getting frustrated. Things
that I used to find easily I don't see. I have a nice big Cue book for
Access 2007 and do not find it very helpful.

The specific thing I am trying to do now is get rid of the menu bar (home,
Create, ...) on forms that users see. More generally, is there a resource
out there that gives guidance to people trying to use 2007 who are used to
97? I'm talking about a guide that says "what you used to do in 97 to do
this, now you need to do that".

Any help is appreciated.
