Unable to open Word attachment in email
When I receive an attached .docx in an email I must save it first to the desktop and then I can open with Word 2007, the default for that file extention.
When trying to open the attachment from the email message without saving it first, I get the the notice: "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Set Associations control panel". Other than the "Control Panel / Default Programs / Associate a file type or protocol with a program" I cannot find a "Set Associations control panel". |

I think this is happening because you have the older version of the Word.Which version you using tell me. it may be due to some settings in your control panel, i am not expert in it, but may be tutorial can help you on this, if you get the solution, inform me as well, i also want to learn this. ____________ electronic signatures Last edited by martincrow : June 16th, 2011 at 07:26 AM. |

I have a large PDF file that is about 100 pages long, most of which is in xls spreadsheet format, and blueprints of floorplans (schematics). The pages with the spreadsheet loads just fine. Once it gets to the drawings, it chokes. If I try to zoom in, it chokes. If I rotate the iPad, it chokes again. Is there a work-around to this problem? I want to be able to present the file to my coworkers/boss and examine something without embarrasing myself.
