Default Print Preview gives codes not text for Contents and page numbers

Having inserted in a 99 page document Page Numbers and a Table of Contents
when I go to Print Preview all I get for TOC is a code and for Page Numbers
the word {PAGE]. All references to Help & Support are to no avail. Sought
help from professional colleague to no avail. Switched document to old
machine (Windows 98) and no problem. All works as should. Yet XP Pro appears
to have a hang up.

Go to Tools/Options/Print and turn off "Print field codes instead of
their values".

Please post all follow-up questions to the newsgroup. Requests for
assistance by email can not be acknowledged.

Clear the "Field codes" check box on the Print tab of Tools | Options.
