Default adding a time stamp to the header

I'd like to display the date and time in the header when I
print a form, from the Datasheet view.

Currently all that is displayed in the header is the
Form's name and date and the page number in the footer.

thanks,

You can show the current date and time if you set the control source of a
textbox to
=Now()

Note that this value will be set when the form first opens. If you want to
update it, you'd need to recalculate the textbox.

You can use the Now() function, as Ken suggests elsewhere in this thread.
You'll probably want to use it as the control source of a text box in the
Page Header section of the form. If you need more control and flexibility
than that, though, you'll be much better off creating a report rather than
printing the form. As a general rule, it is better to use forms for
on-screen display and editing and use reports for printing. You have very
limited control over the printed output of a form.

The spammers and script-kiddies have succeeded in making it impossible for
me to use a real e-mail address in public newsgroups. E-mail replies to
this post will be deleted without being read. Any e-mail claiming to be
from brenreyn at indigo dot ie that is not digitally signed by me with a
GlobalSign digital certificate is a forgery and should be deleted without
being read. Follow-up questions should in general be posted to the
newsgroup, but if you have a good reason to send me e-mail, you'll find
a useable e-mail address at the URL above.

Thanks. I created a report that seems to be much better.
