Default mean to stop me using tablet apps with desktop tablet

Why does windows XP Pro intaller stop me installing software you made for
tablet PCs? I have a Nisis G6 tablet and pen attached to my desktop PC and
want to have anything that will go with these. I tried to install the Power
Toys for tablet PCs but was prevented from doing so. I have a problem seeing
larger views of components on the RadioSpares site despite enabling every
option in IE; all I get is a rude noise that triggers my Tourette's and a
screaming session. Does anybody know what is getting in my way?
