Automating the addition of a public folder to OAB

I know to enable visibility of a public contact folder in OAB by
ticking "Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book" in the folder
properties.
Many will know their users as people who don't want to follow any
advice that is more complex than "doubleclick THIS". My users being of
such kind i would like to know if there is a scipt or sth. which allows
me to specify a folder to enable for OAB and it will do it.

You can script that with the MAPIFolder.ShowAsOutlookAB property from the Outlook object model.

Thanks a lot. To my surprise, even as a Unix instead of Windows Admin,
with this hint i was able to copy and paste an outlook macro together
to do this task. Now, trying to figure how to hand this to the users,
it seems there actually is no way to make this a - start this and
you'll be done - experience since probably i chose the wrong technique,
aka macro to do this. How can i make such a script work like a program
/ How can i make a script run this macro or what should it be instead
of a macro ?

It needs to be a script, e.g. using VBScript, not a VBA macro. If you want to make it easy, tell users to start Outlook, then run the script, which could be in a file hosted on a network server, in a web page (perhaps, depending on your browser and its security), etc.
