How do I synchronize my existing contacts with my new device?
The contacts in my old device (now residing in my pc) are not synchronized
with my new device? How do I copy & sync the contacts to the new device? |

What do you mean by "devices?"
Do you mean you have a new installation of Outlook on another PC and you want to use the same data? If so, copy and reuse the Outlook data file. We'll assume you know how since you failed to provide the relevant Outlook versions. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "zymax" wrote in message ... By device i mean my pda. My old pda was on pocket pc (casiopeia) and the new
pda is OIIs on windows mobile. Outlook is version 2003. FYI, i have 2 settings for my activsync: one is via pc and the other via exchange server via wireless (GPRS). When I sync, the contacts folder reads "Sync status is on device". I couldn't find where in the pda s/ware that allows me to sync all the contacts in my pc to be copied to my new pda. I think i have opted to combine contacts data in my pc with my new pda but i still couldn't find the contacts in my new pda. Please advise.Tq "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: What do you mean by "devices?" Do you mean you have a new installation of Outlook on another PC and you want to use the same data? This is an Outlook group. This is not an Outlook issue.
You have a synchronization issue. You need to ask in a group that supports your synchronization software. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "zymax" wrote in message ... By device i mean my pda.
