Default how do i stop outlook from adding region code to phone numbers

Hi!
I live in Denmark where we do not use region codes i phone numbers. However,
Outlook 2003 adds a (1) before all phone numbers in my contacts. In Dialing
options the country Denmark is selected and in the field Region code is a
'1'. It is dimmed and I can't erase it. Can anybody help?
Thanx a lot!
Jacob

Can't you just turn off the option to automatically add country code to
local numbers?
It's in Outlook's Dialing Properties:
Contacts Actions Call Contact... New Call...
