setting up email account
After re-installing Windows XP and Office XP on an older
machine Outlook will open, but will not allow me to set up the user's email account. After "Tools-option-set up email" or something similar the last click on set up email results in a short error message with no code. Does anyone have any advice? |

Do you mean to say that the error message is blank or ? Have you tried going to Control Panel |Add/Remove Programs | Microsoft Office XP and having it do a Detect and Repair? -- -Ben- Ben M. setting up email account
Thanks Ben. The problem appears to be with local
administrator permissions and the like as I FINALLY got outlook going but am having trouble with other programs (database ones mainly). -----Original Message----- On 17 May 2004 15:23, "chris" wrote: After re-installing Windows XP and Office XP on an older machine Outlook will open, but will not allow me to set up the user's email account.
