Default Uninstall MS Office on Exchange Server 2000

I've inherited a system that has a seperate Exchange 2000 Server. running W2K Adv. However, the prior Admin installed MS Office on the server along with XP w/Front page . No one will ever use XP, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook etc, on the server. Can Office uninstalled without creating errors in Exchange? I've been told that Outlook has to remain on this server. Yet I've heard pro's & con's both ways.

you can uninstall lathe office apps but before uninstalling Outlook, find
out if there is a 3rd party program installed requiring it. If not, you can
uninstall all the apps.
