Default Data not being display in Access Report via an ODBC Connection

I am having difficulty creating a report. The report is not
displaying/showing any data for a particular control/field.

Here is my scenario information: Access 2003 using 2000 format; SQL Server
2000 Enterprise Edition.

I have an ODBC connection defined using the sa account name. The ODBC
connection test okay.

I am trying to create a report using Access. The report record source is
equal to the linked table. I used the fields list to obtain the controls I
wanted to be displayed on the report. Data is being displayed in all of the
controls/fields with the exception of one. I looked at the linked table
properties for the particular field that is not displaying any data. Access
has defined the field data type of “OLE object”. I examined the
corresponding SQL Server table and field and found the data type to be
“Image.” I understand the actual data is text--“rich text format file.”
What do I need to do to get this text be displayed in my report?

If this is not the correct place to make this type post, let me know the
correct access group.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

David S
