Default "Find A Dealer Near You"

If I have a ZIP code database, including lat and lon, how can I write a script
of
"find a dealer near you"?
I would guess that I will need one database of dealers that includes zip code,
lat and lon. This I can make. The the user will enter his zip code. From here,
I will need a script that will find list of dealers in a radius of let's say 30
miles from the customer.

Thanks,

Joe

Hi

interesting question - could you post some sample data

ie a copy of zip codes, their lat & long and a "best guess" estimate of
approx distance (i don't have any of this type of data to hand).

Cheers

Hi

if you open explorer & copy & paste this into the address bar (needs to all
be on the same line) you'll find lots of interesting discussions on the
topic ..
