Ways to view resource calendar?
Hi,
I've recently created a meeting room resource using Outlook 2002 and Exchange 5.5. Is there an easy way to publish the calendar view for this resource so that everybody can see it instead of having to look up the resources availability on the scheduling tab of a new appointment? |

To accomplish this you would need to give users permission to the Calendar
so they can view it by going to File - Open - Other Users's Folder. Or another anlternative is to create a calendar in the Public Folder Tree, grant people the appropriate permission, however, you lose the resource scheduling functionality. wrote in message ... I just remembered that people need Author access to "book a meeting" on a
calender anyway, so if they can successfully book a meeting, then they can go to File -Open - Other Users Folder to view the availability. wrote in message ... Thanks for the post.
Thought that might be the case. I was hoping there would be some way to combine a public folder view plus the resoure scheduling. -----Original Message----- To accomplish this you would need to give users permission to the Calendar so they can view it by going to File - Open - Other Users's Folder.
