how do you hide the group (tiles) so that people can not
go "behind the scenes"?

John,

I assume you mean hiding the database window? If that's the case, then
follow menu path Tools Startup and uncheck the Display Database Window
checkbox (you'll see more options, check them out to see wha they do).
Knowledgable users will still be able to hold down the Shift key while
opening the database and bypass the db window hiding (plus any other strtup
settings and autoexec macro/code execution), but in practice they just don't
know. Even this bypass can be prevented by use of code.
