How do I combine information from two spreadsheets into one?
My spreadsheets bot have the following rows:
Dept. Description Merch. Cat. Description Taxware Product Code One spreadsheet has the several columns of company information and the other needs to have the items matched with the correct Dept. Descrp, Merch. Cat Descrp, and Tax Product code. However, I do not want to copy of paste the information by each new line on the new spreadsheet. How would I consolidate the two having the spreadsheet with the complete information carry over the information to the matching product on the new spreadsheet? Not every column will be listed in the new spreadsheet, so a search for like items will need to be conducted? |

This is a newsgroup dedicated to questions about Access, the database program in Office Professional. It appears your question may not be related to these subjects. The Microsoft help system is not all that clear and may have misdirected you here. It is best to ask your questions in a newsgroup dedicated to the subject of your question. You should find people better able to address your problem there. Note: It is always best to indicate the name and version of any program(s) you may be using when asking a question and also indicate the operating system (like Windows XP or 98) when you ask a question. -- Joseph Meehan Dia duit |
