copy paste but not keying in works
I have a query that works off a table with A/V order records. Most of my
vendors will provide an invoice with complete UPC numbers, but I have one that always leaves off the last digit. With that digit left off, I can't scan in the barcode for the UPC. I left to hand key in the number they gave me which is the number in the database. Well this last order, I went to hand key in the number and nothing showed up. When to the table, did a FIND with that number and it located the record. I then did a COPY/PASTE off the record in the table into the query and that record came up. Went to hand key in the number and nothing came up. Hand keying works with most of the other records for other vendors, it just seems that something is with this order. an Any ideas. Lin |

Is the value in the database really correct. Could a 'l' have been typed for
'1' or 'O' or 'o' for '0'. "Lin Light" wrote: I have a query that works off a table with A/V order records.
