how to shrink photo to send via email

I have 546kb photo I need to shrink to 100kb or less, how do you shrink size
of photo? The send via email box will not come up on this file, that would
shrink it to desired size.

Additional note: This is the MS Access (the database program)
newsgroup. Try a newsgroup devoted to the program (Outlook) you are using.
You should find people better able to address your problem there than here.

That depends on what software you have available to edit and resize it.
With XP you can right click on the file and it will offer "resize" as an
option where you can have it resize it (it makes a new smaller copy). Many
graphic editing programs will also allow you to changes the size.
