Default Form view / Design view - looses chart changes?

I have created a graph using a form. In design view I have edited the data
sheet to show different series headers and changed the order of the series.
I can see these changes have been made in the design view. However when I
switch back to form view the changes are lost both in form view and then back
in design view?

I've tried saving before leaving design view - this doesn't seem to help

Help - why does this happen? is there anyway round it?

Thank you

If you are setting the changes in the graph data sheet the changes
will never be saved because your graph is based on a query or SQL
statement. Try changing the record source of the graph not the graph
data sheet. Once you make changes to the record source then formatting
the graphs layout can be saved.

Hope this helps.
