Default Save and Saveas Greyed out on tool bar and file menu

Some users on the network are unable to use save and saveas to save changes
to a document, except when they close excel down. Other users do have
ability to use these save options any ideas how to ensure everyone can use
the toolbar and menu options to save?

Try this on the problem pc.

Tools|customize|toolbars tab
select "worksheet menu bar"
click the reset button

close this dialog

Did it work?

(It will reset any changes made to that toolbar, though. But they could be
changed back later.)
