How do I stop automatically adding emails to my contacts?
Every time I email someone or they email me, that person's email address is
automatically added to my contacts list. I have a lot of contacts through email that are one-time contacts and I don't want them saved in my contacts. How do I stop this?

Outlook does not do this and cannot even be configured to do so. Describe

Not even IMO added received addresses automatically--only Reply To

Only if you provide the requested information.
Outlook 2000 had two completely different versions. Again, no version has ever added addresses to your Contacts from received messages. I deleted about a hundred contacts and apparently, new contacts are not being added automatically anymore. I have Windows XP-outlook mail program. I sell on Ebay and the email addresses of dozens of my customers was showing up in my contacts--that's what made me think that they were being automatically added to my contacts. Don't know what happened but thanks for the response.
