Default Design Program

Can anyone recommend a FREE program to assist with
designing a database. Some kind of graphical
representation so I can sort things out better.

Zelgrath, Have you tried the Tables and Forms Wizards in Access? They have
few templates that might be of help.

Hi

I needed a similar program, just for roughing out ideas for a large project
with many tables and found DBDesigner4 http://www.fabforce.net/

Whilst not specifically for Access databases (Actually optimised for use
with MySQL databases) it does feature a graphical design environment and is
open source. It also allows you to print out your design.

Not an ideal solution but great for quickly assessing different ideas

Post-It notes are not quite free, but they are pretty cheap and have a
better User Interface than any dedicated database design software that I
have come across.
