Display labels on UML Connectors
Hi all,
Is there a way to display the label on a UML connector? I'm using Visio Professional 2007 and working in an Activity Diagram. I know this was not possible in older versions, but I'm hoping that's changed with this version. It's a pain always having to add a text box that's not connected (I know, I can group, but still...). Any help would be appreciated! |

Display labels on UML Connectors
In this case, I am using the Constraints Connector. After you place this
shape on the page you can select it then use the right mouse button and select format text. This should bring up the text menu for the shape and place you on the font tab. Select the bullets tab, which should be the very last tab available on this menu. Locate the custom/ Bullet characters section it should be blank by default. When you enter text in this field, it will display for the connector. You may want to go back to Text block tab and make the desired alignment and text background adjustments. James W.
