.pst not compatible from 2003 to 2000
I am backing a workstation down from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2000. The .pst
file I exported indicates that it is not compatible with this version of the Personal Folders information & the information service has not been configured. Is there any way to get the messages and address book back to Outlook 2000? Thank you! Mary |

The .pst file I exported indicates that it is not compatible with this version of the Personal Folders information & the information service has not been configured. pst-files from Outlook 2003 are not compatible to earlier versions of Outlook. To open a pst-file, that was created in Outlook 2003, in Outlook 2000/2002, you have to create a new pst-file in Outlook 2003 in the old pst-format (Personal folder (.pst) for Outlook (97-2002)). File | New | Outlook-Datafile Copy the whole content of the Outlook 2003 pst-file (Unicode) in this new pst-file. Now you can open this file in Outlook 97/98/2000/2002. -- Best Regards Christian Goeller |

.pst not compatible from 2003 to 2000
Is this possible if I just have the file, but Outlook 2003 has already been
uninstalled? "Christian Goeller" wrote: Mary Z, you wrote on Thu, 8 Dec 2005 12:42:02 -0800: I am backing a workstation down from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2000.
