0x80040154 regsvr32.exe sample.dll
I'm receiving a regsvr32.exe error. I've researched and downloaded the fix
but it did not help. I searched my C drive and found 1 file regsvr and another regsvr32, both are in windows\system32 folder. When I click the regsvr, a DOS window opens. The other file gives me an error- No dll named and info. I've reinstalled Outlook 2003 and created new email profile, but nothing is working. Now what? The MS page where I found the download file said that the info could be manually entered at the prompt. Will that create the dll file that regsvr32 is looking for? Thanks Starlady |

The first thing to try is 'Help|Detect and Repair'. I believe I found
the"fix" article you located and you would enter "c:\winnt\system32\regsvr32 outlmime.dll" instead of "c:\winnt\system32\regsvr32 xy.dll". I read that article before writing for help. It did not help.
I ran both suggestions and received the following error messages. 1. regsvr32 *.dll --load library *.dll failed. Specific module could not be found. 2. windows\system32\regsvr32 outlmime.dll -- load library (outlmime.dll) failed. Specific module could not be found. I tried running windows\system32\regsvr32 *.dll and received this error. Cannot find the file windows\system32\regsvr32 *.dll (or one of its components). Make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available. I sure hope we can get to the bottom of this.
