Default OLE Registration Error

I recently uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2000 due to
a freeze when starting Word(which by the way is still
there), but in the process I have messed up my Outlook
installation.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Office as well as run
repair and I continue to get the following while trying
to launch Outlook:

"An OLE registration error occurred. The program is not
correctly installed. Run setup again for the program."
At which point Outlook terminates and I get an Illegal
Operations error stating: "Outlook caused an invalid
page fault in module OUTLLIB.dll@187:3a4a6eaf."

Please help - it seems like another poster named Andy is
having a similar problem stemming from an IE install -
but I haven't touched IE! Thanks!
