Default Mouse Wheel Won't Scroll in Visual Basic Editor. Do This

If you are a Visual Basic programmer and your mouse wheel
won't scroll in the VB Editor, then go to the Microsoft
Knowledge Base and get article 837910 with the title "Mouse
wheel events do not work in the Visual Basic 6.0 IDE". It
tells you why and gives a workaround.

Good spot. The problem with the drivers has been around for a while now.

This appears to work as intended for VB, but what about making this
available for VBA. As far as I can see this is application specific. How
would you alter this to get it to appear as an add-in for the VBE in Excel?

Hi Robin,

I can't answer your question, but there is a short article on the subject at
the following URL, and it has a link to a freeware/donationware program that
enables use of the scroll wheel in the VBE in Excel.

HTH

Cheers,

John
