Default Template sought -need to create Memorial brochure for funeral svc

Dear friend passed away this week, I want to create a Memorial brochure (a personal tribute?) for distribution at her funeral - maybe this is just a Southern tradition? Because I can't find any such Template, anywhere. Her funeral is Sat June 19. Help me please, y'all...

I just did a Google search for "memorial brochure". Apparently it's not just
s Southern thing.

What kind of brochure do you want to create? Just a small tri-fold or a
booklet? What do you expect from a template?

Thank you for your prompt response. If you found Templates for both a trifold AND a booklet, I'd like to get both. My energy level is screaming "TRIFOLD!" but the family may want me to do the booklet.

I didn't mean to give you the impression that I found templates for said
brochure. I meant that you can start with any tri-fold or booklet template
and modify as needed. As Steve in NC says, create it with your heart. I know
it won't be easy but it will be better than any pre-made brochure that you
change "dearly departed" to "Sally".

All of that aside, I wish your peace in your heart during this time.

Steve, thank you for sharing. But I can't expect you to share something so personal as this, nor am I sure you're offering?... My problem is immediacy. The funeral is this Saturday. It is now late-thirty on Wednesday June 16. I want to offer my services to Julia's family as my gift to them. I don't have a lot of the family-type information yet -- I had hoped to draft a Memorial brochure first, with prompts like [enter names of sisters and brothers here] at the proper intervals, just to show Julia's husband what I have in mind. Before the family goes to a print shop or funeral home to PAY for the same service, probably thru the nose?

ARMF:

You "don't have a lot of family-type information yet" but in three days
you are going to "draft a Memorial brochure first" with "prompts" for
the family to enter "names of sisters and brothers" to create a lasting
memorial offering before the "family goes to a print shop or funeral
home to PAY for the same service"...

I feel for you...

and no I won't share the mspub layout or the poem I wrote for my mother
for your pub

Love and peace...

Although this site sells the Publisher templates, you could at least look at
what they've used and create a publication that suits your needs. I think
your back is going to be against the wall time-wise tho. And contacting the
family for the "fill in the blank" info is not a job I'd want right now.
