freezes when putting in phone numbers
I have a user whose outlook freezes when entering in a
phone number for a contact. I believe it may be something with her Microsoft Active Sync 3.7.1 and her HP iPAQ which i have seen posted in another forum before but did not say how to resolve it. Any suggestions? Everything is patched and up to date. Specs: Windows XP SP2 Outlook 2003 MS Active Sync 3.7.1 |

What information store? Why do you suspect ActivSync?

i suspect Active sync, like i said because another user
had the same problem and described it so specifically. Also because hr contacts dont freeze on another computer and no one else has Active sync, there fore no one else had a problem. i dont know what you mean by "what information store" but it is a exchange 2003 server. -----Original Message----- What information store? An Exchange mailbox is your information store, then. The reason that's
important is that it may be an Exchange problem rather than an Outlook problem. I've seen no similar reports of similar problems in Outlook since Outlook 98. No error messages, no Outlook version and no steps to repro make it impossible to solve from here. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ... i suspect Active sync, like i said because another user had the same problem and described it so specifically. if it were the information store then why would it work
on another computer logged into the same network? -----Original Message----- An Exchange mailbox is your information store, then. You'd need to ask someone familiar with Exchange. I would assume you are not
logging onto the same mailbox, right? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ... if it were the information store then why would it work on another computer logged into the same network? -----Original Message----- An Exchange mailbox is your information store, then.
